Our special shell casting process for platinum was developed through long-term experience in the quality-intensive medical and aerospace markets. When compared with standard jewelry casting inventments, our process is ideal for high-temperature alloys, like platinum and palladium, due to its increased strength and temperature resistance.

In addition to a sophisticated casting process, TechForm treats platinum, gold, and palladium alloys with a post-casting densification process called Hot Isostatic Pressing, commonly referred to as “HIP”. This process eliminates porosity, improves casting consistency, and enhances mechanical properties.
